Karina Seuser
Karina Seuser is a Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Gold Coast Aesthetics, known for her expertise in non-surgical cosmetic treatments and her commitment to enhancing natural beauty. With over 7 years of experience, Karina has built a trusted reputation in Orange County for her gentle touch, artistic eye, and results-driven approach.
In addition to her clinical work, Karina has served as an injectables trainer at Wake Up Beautiful Academy, Med Aesthetics, and her own Injector Academy, where she educates nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians on safe, effective techniques to achieve refined, natural-looking results.
Karina is deeply committed to continued education and staying at the forefront of aesthetic medicine. She regularly participates in advanced trainings, seminars, and hands-on workshops, and has trained in small group settings with internationally recognized experts, including Dr. Alexander Rivkin, Dr. Jonathan Sykes, Dr. Gideon Kwok, Dr. T.J. Tsay, Francine Young (the “Queen of Threads”), Dr. Tim Pearce, and Dr. Rajani.
Her philosophy centers on the importance of in-depth product knowledge, precision, and ongoing education—ensuring her patients receive the most advanced, safe, and effective treatments available. This dedication allows her to consistently deliver natural, balanced results tailored to each individual.
Karina is a first-generation Chilean immigrant and fluent Spanish speaker. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, her son Liam, and their Great Dane, Luna.

Dr. Ann Mai
Dr. Ann Mai is a double-boarded physician working in Internal Medicine and Medical Aesthetics. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at world-renowned Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. She is trusted by thousands of patients and is known for being knowledgeable, empowering, and caring.

Bella Conto
Bella Conto is the Operations & Marketing Manager at Gold Coast Aesthetics, where she oversees clinical operations and leads the brand’s digital presence. She is passionate about aesthetics and helping others feel confident by enhancing and recognizing their natural beauty.
A California native, Bella graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in Theory and Practice of Cinema, with an emphasis in multi-camera producing and directing. Her production background includes work on nationally recognized programs such as Dr. Phil, The Doctors, and MTV’s Catfish, among other reality television projects.
At Gold Coast Aesthetics, Bella brings together creative direction and operational leadership, shaping the patient experience while driving content development, advertising, and overall marketing strategy. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys writing music and poetry, creating content, and traveling.
Rachel Plucknett
Rachel Plucknett, RN, developed her passion for aesthetics through a strong foundation in both skin health and science. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences before pursuing nursing as a pathway into aesthetic medicine. While working in ICU and DOU critical care units, she continued to share her interest in skincare, wellness, and fitness through her social media platform, @ladyrachelann.
Committed to advancing her expertise, Rachel has completed extensive training in aesthetic medicine, including injectables and laser treatments, and continues to expand her education in the field. Her experience with lasers, microneedling, and PRF has deepened her appreciation for the skin’s natural ability to regenerate and stimulate collagen.
In addition to her clinical work, Rachel is a lifestyle bodybuilder with a passion for strength training, muscle building, and overall wellness. She believes that aesthetics and a healthy lifestyle go hand in hand in helping individuals feel confident and empowered in their skin.
Jocelyn Ruiz
Jocelyn is our go-to social media expert, rarely seen without a camera in hand and always ready to capture the perfect moment. With a background in beauty marketing and a degree from California State University, Long Beach, she brings both creativity and strategic insight to her work.
Her passion for beauty and skincare is reflected in every aspect of her content. Jocelyn leads all social media efforts, thoughtfully showcasing the brand’s focus on natural results, patient confidence, and overall wellness.
Lorraine Pineda
Lorraine Pineda is the Front Desk Coordinator and Graphic Marketing Specialist at Gold Coast Aesthetics, where she plays a key role in creating a welcoming patient experience while supporting the brand’s visual presence.
A graduate of California State University, Fullerton, Lorraine is passionate about creative marketing, wellness, and natural beauty. After personally struggling with acne, she developed a deep interest in skincare and skin health, which continues to shape her approach to both her work and personal routine.
Today, Lorraine is dedicated to maintaining clear, healthy skin through consistent care, incorporating medical-grade skincare and professional treatments into her regimen—an experience that has not only transformed her skin, but also her confidence.
